The Treasure Depot provides for the collection and distribution of clothing, household items, books, toys and collectibles. Our secondhand store helps many people in the Lewistown area. This is a splendid volunteer opportunity. Presently 20 wonderful volunteers work together to keep this community outreach running smoothly.
The Treasure Depot is located at 414 W Broadway, Lewistown, MT. Store hours are 10am – 4pm Monday through Friday and 10am – 2pm on Saturday.
Dream Vacation Fundraising Raffle
The Council On Aging’s Dream Vacation is their annual fundraiser whose proceeds help fund the programs provided by FCCOA. This fundraising raffle gives away a trip for two each month beginning in January of each year. The monthly winner gets to choose from one of nine trips, or $1,000 cash if they do not wish to travel.
Trip destination choices include airfare and lodging to places such as Disneyland, Branson, the Baha Peninsula, and the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, to name just a few. Travel arrangements are made by Main Connection Travel.
Tickets are $150 each, a maximum of 325 tickets are sold and can be purchased year round at the Council on Aging. Drawings are normally held on the 15th of each month. Tickets purchased by December 15th of each year are also entered into a trip for two for the Early Bird Drawing.
Central Montana Shuttle
The Central Montana Shuttle is a 'demand-response, origin-to-destination' transportaion program serving seniors, people with disabilities and the transit-dependent general public in Fergus County.
The shuttle provides transportation for work, visiting, school, shopping, and doctor trips to those in need. It is not a taxi service for the general public.
The shuttle includes a fleet of handicapped-accessible buses in addition to a van to serve the needs of the transit-dependent population. Rides are tailored to fit each rider, including door-to-door service and assistance with loading and unloading.
Local rides are available Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 5:45pm. Regular monthly trips provide travel to Billings every Tuesday and to Great Falls every Thursday. Bozeman trips are available on an intermittent basis - please call to ask for details.
Contact our office at 535-7486 to schedule your trip and for information on time of departure, cost and other information. You may leave a message on our message machine. 24-hour notice is needed to schedule a ride.
Powerful Tools helps caregivers take better care of themselves while caring for a friend or relative. By taking better care of their own health and well-being, they become better caregivers. FCCOA also provides caregivers with tools to survive the mental and physical challenges of caring for the homebound.
